A Storied History

Named in honour of Jamaica's National Hero and statesman, The Rt. Honourable Norman Manley, the airport was featured in the very first James Bond film, Dr. No (1962), starring Sean Connery. Inspired by the beauty and intrigue of the island, Ian Fleming wrote all 13 Bond novels here in Jamaica.
